Overview

Amboseli is only four hours from Nairobi, which makes it the perfect weekend safari. The park is famous for its large-tusked elephants and the postcard view of Mount Kilimanjaro across the plains, best seen at dawn before the clouds roll in.

You get three game drives, a night in a lodge or tented camp with mountain views, and you are back in Nairobi on Sunday evening.

Itinerary

Day 1Nairobi to Amboseli

Depart 6:30am via Emali, arrive for lunch, afternoon game drive and sundowner with mountain views.

Day 2Amboseli to Nairobi

Sunrise game drive for the best Kilimanjaro light, breakfast, final drive out and return to Nairobi by 4:00pm.
