Shanol Tours & Travel Ltd respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
When you enquire or book, we collect the information needed to arrange your travel: names, contact details, dates of birth, passport details, dietary or medical requirements you choose to share, payment information and travel preferences. Our website also collects standard technical data such as your IP address and browser type through server logs.
How we use it
We use your data to respond to enquiries, prepare quotes, make and manage bookings with airlines, hotels and operators, process visa applications you have asked us to help with, process payments, provide support while you travel, and, if you agree, send you occasional offers. We do not sell your data.
Who we share it with
Only the suppliers needed to deliver your trip (airlines, hotels, lodges, transport and tour operators, insurers and visa processing centres), payment providers, and authorities where required by law. Some suppliers are outside Kenya; we share only what is necessary for your booking.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for as long as required for accounting and legal purposes, normally seven years. Enquiry data that does not lead to a booking is deleted within 24 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or object to marketing, by emailing info@shanoltravel.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.

This website uses only the cookies necessary for it to function and for the contact forms to work. Embedded maps and videos from third parties such as Google may set their own cookies.
